Board of Teachers

We are excited to create our first Board of Teachers! This team will help ensure that Pangea Chat meets the needs and expectations of language teachers and learners around the world, and we want you to be part of that!

The Board of Teachers will serve as a sounding board for new ideas, a place to review new features and options within the app, and a space for discussing what teachers need and how Pangea Chat can best meet those needs.

You will

  • Dedicate about 3-5 hours each month to
  • Participate in synchronous discussions and/or interviews about Pangea Chat
  • Provide written feedback on new features or options in Pangea Chat
  • Implement Pangea Chat and provide feedback on the experience

Required Qualifications

Must be a world language teacher, curriculum designer, or administrator.

Preferred Qualifications

Currently holds a position as one of the following for either Spanish or English as a second/foreign language:

  • Private world languages tutor
  • Business language teacher (ideally that works with corporate clients)
  • Language for specific purposes (LSP) teacher (Health Sciences, Tourism, Law, etc…)
  • Private/charter high school world languages teacher
  • Public high school world languages teacher
  • World languages curriculum designer
  • University-level world languages teacher
  • World languages education administrator
  • Private language institute teacher
  • ESL/EFL teacher
